About Us
Since 2000, Stitchin' Trips has been hosting retreats and providing affordable, fun-filled travel and craft opportunities for women of all ages from the upper
Our retreats are typically held less than two hours away from the Twin Cities in clean and comfortable facilities. It’s not the Ritz, but it’s not camping either. Accommodations are typically double or multiple occupancy with linens and towels provided. Three nutritious and delicious meals are included in all packages. In some cases, attendees team up to prepare a meal for the group.
Craft work areas are spacious, comfortable and well-lit, with plenty of electrical outlets. For most of our retreats, crafters can choose from several length-of-stay options. However, retreats at Bridge Creek Cottage only offer Wednesday or Thursday arrivals. Depending on the location, our retreats can accommodate 12-20 guests. All retreats are smoke-free and pets are not allowed.
Selected retreats feature classes, demos, make-and-take projects and work on charity quilts. At some sessions, we also offer the services of a certified therapeutic masseuse at a modest extra cost.
In addition to our public retreats, we also work with quilt clubs and guilds to host private "members-only" retreats. If your group is interested in one of these events, please contact us for details.
So, if you can’t seem to find enough time in your daily schedule or have too many distractions at home to work on your projects, consider a Stitchin’ Trips retreat. You won’t be disappointed!
